Hi! Please Call Me Cami!

My journey begins in high school, in a small city of Barre, Vermont. When faced with the question of what I wanted to do I thought of animation and working at Disney...clearly I didn't commit to that path. There was a tech school attached to my high school with a Digital Media Arts program, I went thinking that I'd learn all I would need to about animation so I can do that in college, I was mistaken. My teacher actually didn't do much animating or in depth teaching of animation at all. However when we got to the graphic design portion of the year I no longer wanted to do animation. My new interest was graphic design and I was so excited. Now I'm going to spoil the story a little bit, I graduated Northern Vermont University- Lyndon with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Graphic Design and an Associates in Visual Arts (pretty exciting!). Through My college years I played a pretty big role in the Visual Arts Department. I managed the equipment room with all their cameras, tablets, iPads, etc, and I was the graphic design tutor. My senior year however I switched from being a tutor that helped in Adobe programs to one that helped students practice for their certifications in the Adobe program. Before my senior year was over I was  certified in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and am now an Adobe certified Visual Professional.
